Personal Budget Coaches

We are planning to establish a network of volunteer Personal Budget Coaches across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch, who will help people to set a realistic household budget and support them to access specialist debt advice if they need it. 

These coaches will be located within churches and other community settings, so that people can easily access the service.  They are not debt advisers or counsellors, but are trained to help people with budgeting, as both a preventative measure and a way of encouraging people to get specialist help early and thereby avoid serious financial problems later.
